About

Triton Play started as a shared notes doc between three friends who kept sending each other mobile game recommendations. At some point the list got long enough that we figured other people might want it too, so we turned it into a proper site with reviews and a small catalog.,We focus on indie and lesser-known mobile titles because the big charts are already covered everywhere. Small studios make some of the most interesting stuff on phones, and it rarely gets a fair write-up. That gap is basically our whole reason for existing.,Games get on the site only after someone on the team has actually finished a decent chunk of them. We track control feel, pacing, how a game holds up on a commute, and whether it respects your time. If nobody wanted to keep playing, it doesn't make the cut.,We're a tiny, independent editorial team. No publisher tells us what to write, and we say when something drags. That's the whole deal.

Lukas Vogel — Lukas has been reviewing mobile games for over a decade and still keeps three phones charged just for testing. He's the one who insists every game gets played on a bus before it gets a score.
