Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that respects that you're playing on a phone. Battles are turn-based and quick, party management is clear without spreadsheets, and you can pause a fight mid-turn and come back an hour later without losing the thread. It fits a phone the way a lot of ported RPGs never quite do.
The writing carried it for me. The main quest is about a wandering healer rebuilding a scattered village, and the side characters actually change based on how you treat them. Combat has enough class variety that experimenting with builds stays fun deep into the story.
It's generous with content and never gates progress behind grinding. If you like classic RPG rhythms but can only play in short bursts, this one is built for exactly that.
